We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.Knoxville Rehabilitation Hospital strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs.We are accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF-accredited for our Stroke Specialty program.How you'll contributeYou'll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.Department/Unit SummaryProvides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Develop nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. Communicates changes in patient's clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate. Participates in discharges planning process.Qualifications and requirements Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.CPR/BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.CRRN PreferredMinimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.What we offerFundamental to providing great care is supporting and rewarding our team.
