Credit & Collections Supervisor- Roofing

About the RoleThe Credit and Collection Supervisor position within the Roofing Business Unit has the responsibility for all Roofing, Insulation & Hydrotech Credit and Collections within Sika and related company Sarnafil Services. The position is located in Rutherford, NJ and reports to the Sika Credit Manager.Responsibilities include:Maintain and ensure adherence to the corporate credit and collection policiesSupervise three Credit and Collection SpecialistsComplete performance evaluations on Credit & Collection SpecialistsMeasure and report credit and collection goals and objectives with appropriate metricsConduct credit reviews on customers to adjust credit limits in a timely mannerMonitor credit balances, payment performance and overall customer history to establish credit holds and additional action as appropriateHandle major accounts requiring individual attention, problem accounts and accounts with special arrangementsHandle Notice to Owner’s and Lien Waiver’s for numerous jobs throughout the USDrive credit and collection process improvement to decrease past due accounts and DSOForecast and track cash collections monthlyCollaborate cross-functionally with other departments to resolve disputed invoicesSalary range $70,000-$85,000 depending on education and experience.Your Skills and ExperienceBachelor’s degree or supervisory experienceExperience with Credit and Collection practices in the construction industry (such as Notice to Owner, Preliminary Notices, Lien Waivers, Joint Check Agreements and Bond Claims)Experience negotiating payment plansStrong organizational and effective time management skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)7+ years of prior Credit experienceProficient in MS Word, MS Excel, (SAP experience desirable)Excellent problem solving abilitiesSome travel requiredWhy Join Us401k with Generous Company MatchBonusesMedical, Dental, and Vision BenefitsPaid Parental LeaveLife InsuranceDisability InsurancePaid time off, paid holidaysFloating holidays + Paid Volunteer TimeWellness/Fitness ReimbursementsEducation AssistanceProfessional Development OpportunitiesEmployee Referral Program & More!Sika fosters a culture of entrepreneurship, empowering each individual to make decisions, learn from experiences, and shape their own career path.
