Job Summary:

The role requires a sound understanding of the principles of accounting, tax and finance functions, including financial statement analysis/reporting, real estate accounting, partnership‐structured investments, and historical investment performance.

• Manage daily project accounting activities
• Process Accounts Payable (A/P) , including vendor invoices, purchase orders, subcontractor payments, and expense tracking.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) , including customer invoicing, payment posting, collections, and account reconciliation.
• Prepare and record journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Maintain general ledger accounts including monthly reconciliations.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate job costing and project accounting records.
• Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
• Quarterly consolidated financial statement preparation and presentation
• Review of partnership agreements and loan documents
• Cash/Treasury management to protect the firm’s liquidity
• Debt management/compliance
• Investor reporting/distributions
• Investment performance tracking (realized and unrealized)
• Historical investment reporting
• Coordinate with external property managers, external tax preparers, and external auditors
• Other duties as may be assigned at the discretion of the management

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in accounting and tax preparation software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• CPA required
• Commercial real estate related experience
• 4-7 years’ experience
• Consolidation accounting experience required
• Thorough knowledge of financial accounting/partnership accounting, financial reporting and analysis
• Experience with Accounting ERPs (ex. - Dynamics GP, Yardi, Sage Intact)

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Able to travel as needed.
