As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while maintaining a visible presence. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.67 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed. Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security-related observations. Minimum Requirements: Experience using alarm panels is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience using access control systems and badge systems is preferred. Possession of a guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
