Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This facility is on the verge of advancing to a Level I Trauma designation, handling complex adult and occasional pediatric cases across both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role delivers advanced care within a large department, offering opportunities to work with leading-edge imaging technology alongside an experienced and collaborative team.

Schedule and Hours

• Four 10-hour mid shifts each week
• 11:00 am start time
• Rotating weekend coverage (typically once a month, may vary)
• Voluntary on-call availability
• Expectation to work one major and one minor holiday per department policy

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification required (BLS required for all)
• Fluoroscopy experience essential, including surgical and portable imaging
• Experience in trauma, diagnostic radiology, and O-arm preferred; DEXA a plus but not mandatory
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a busy trauma/acute care setting; at least 2 years’ relevant experience required for first-time travelers
• Comfort with Cerner EMR and imaging in GE, Siemens, Konica, and Carestream environments
• Ability to float between radiology sub-departments and adapt quickly to changing priorities

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality radiologic and X-ray services for a diverse patient population, averaging 40 exams per day
• Perform procedures in fluoroscopy, trauma, and surgery settings utilizing advanced equipment
• Purchase and use personal imaging markers as needed
• Maintain strong patient safety and workflow efficiency standards
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams for best patient outcomes
• Adhere to departmental policies, especially for PTO and holiday scheduling
