Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, requesting diagnostic tests, and devising personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions collaboratively or independently (as per your credentials)
• Instructing patients and families on health promotion, enforcement of wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your practice authority
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care oversight
• Collaboratively working with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive and coordinated care
• Maintaining detailed and accurate records using electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Texas
• Professional certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant specialty
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or willingness to obtain within three months)
