Conduct patient assessments including vitals and medical histories. Room and prepare patients for procedures while maintaining neat and clean clinical areas. Perform diagnostic procedures (skin testing, spirometry, etc.) and basic lab tests (CLIA waived). Administer diagnostic and therapeutic medications, injections, immunizations and infusions as directed by providers. Provide patient education, instruction and support regarding treatment plans. Coordinate patient referrals, lab orders, prior authorizations and pre-certifications. Triages nurse calls and calls in prescriptions. Enter, scan and update clinical documentation (EMR) ensuring accuracy and completeness. Maintain and stock medical supply inventory and equipment. Perform all other duties as assigned.
