Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a night shift diagnostic imaging position requiring an ARRT (R) certification and an Associate's degree from a JRCERT-accredited program.

Details

• Diagnostic radiology and imaging department at an acute care hospital in Louisville, KY
• Performs exams in the department, surgery, and at the bedside
• Uses Epic and IMPAX systems
• 3x12-hour night shifts, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends and holiday coverage required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Associate's degree from a JRCERT-accredited Radiology Program
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification
• BLS certification
• Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) Radiography License — license required if applicable
• Proficiency with Epic and IMPAX systems
• MM/DD of DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Produces quality diagnostic images for Radiologist review and maintains accurate records
• Performs quality control on equipment and completes QC for assigned rooms
• Responsible for ordering and restocking supplies and linens, and reporting equipment malfunctions
• Verifies patient identity and orders, follows department protocol, and uses proper radiation protection for self and patient
• Assists the Radiologist with exams as needed
• Works under the direction of the Diagnostic Team Leader with minimal supervision
