Maintenance Tech

Job Requisition #: 034156 Maintenance Tech (Open) Role Overview Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and systems according to established procedures. Key Responsibilities Ensure reliability of machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance. Perform mechanical, electrical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs. Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Use hand tools and measuring instruments to determine dimensional requirements of parts. Dismantle devices to remove defective parts, using hand and power tools. Adhere to all plant safety policies. Participate in plant-wide safety, housekeeping, Operational Excellence, and Lean Manufacturing programs. Perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 1–2 years of relevant experience. Knowledge and Skills Operate machines, hand-tools, and electrical equipment. Understand automated industrial machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and work orders. Apply strong problem‑solving skills with practical, mechanical, and electrical aptitude. Basic troubleshooting experience and proven skills in machine repair. Strong written and oral communication skills. Follow directions and work well in a team. Welding, machining, and fabrication experience is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software. Compensation Range $18.00 per hour. Position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
