Low Voltage Electrician

Troy Security Systems is seeking an experienced, skilled, and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. As an integral member of our Security & Alarms division, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of security systems in residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and troubleshoot security system components such as wiring, control panels, sensors, cameras, access control devices, and alarms. Conduct site surveys to determine the appropriate security system design for each project. Collaborate with our sales team to understand client requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs. Maintain accurate records of work performed, inventory, and equipment. Follow all safety guidelines and regulations during installation, maintenance, and repair processes. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the security and alarm systems field. Contribute to a positive team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as an electrician, with a focus on security and alarm systems. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices. Familiarity with various security system components, including CCTV, access control, and burglar alarms. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights. Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing as required by our company policies.
