Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Beaufort, South Carolina | Full-Time | Immediate Opening – Beaufort County Detention Center Coastal Management Solutions, Inc. is actively seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing services at the Beaufort County Detention Center in Beaufort, South Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nursing professional to provide quality patient care in a correctional healthcare setting while working as part of a collaborative healthcare team. Position Highlights Full-time opportunity Start Date: July 1, 2026 Multiple shifts available: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM Collaborative healthcare environment Opportunity to serve a diverse patient population Competitive compensation package Comprehensive benefits offered through CMS Responsibilities The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will: Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies. Monitor and document patient health status, vital signs, and responses to treatment. Assist with intake screenings, assessments, and ongoing patient evaluations. Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation. Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Ensure compliance with all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Minimum Qualifications Qualified candidates must: Possess a current, active, and unrestricted South Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. Maintain current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross. Demonstrate strong clinical, assessment, and patient care skills. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Be eligible to work in the United States and meet all applicable employment requirements.
