About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum of 24 months in Progressive Care Unit with recent experience in the last 12 months License: Active state license to practice Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: Candidates must be able to start on the listed start date or no more than one week later. Request for Time Off (RTO) must be included on the cover page and cannot exceed 7 days. No RTO during the first week of the assignment. Candidates must have no hits on state license to practice. Candidates must have life support certifications from approved vendors. Candidates must have a valid driver's license to verify residency. Travel experience is highly preferred. Description: Candidates are required to wear navy scrubs. Availability for varied weekends and holidays is necessary. This position includes working in a medical/surgical float capacity. Candidates must have ACLS certification and be able to work in Progressive Care Unit Observation, Medical Surgical, and Telemetry. All criteria candidates are willing to accept should be clearly outlined. Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments will expedite the offer process. Please list all facilities the candidate is willing to work in. Specify shifts and departments the candidate is experienced in and willing to work. All candidates submitted should be pre-closed and ready to accept. Immediate notification is required if a candidate withdraws or is no longer available. Compliance with all background check standards is mandatory. A complete cover page is required. A resume must be submitted, including all facilities, departments worked, trauma level designation, and number of beds listed. A PCU skills checklist must be completed in the last 12 months. The active license to practice must be verified within the last 30 days. Active ACLS and BLS certifications from approved vendors must be provided. A valid driver's license is required.
