BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SPECIALIST (BHS/MHS/BHT/PCT)

We are seeking dedicated and patient‑focused individuals to join our team as Behavioral Health Specialists . In this role, you will support patients between ages 13 and beyond who are experiencing medical and behavioral health challenges. Working under the supervision of an LPN/RN and as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team, you will:

• Assist with direct patient care and daily management
• Support therapeutic and leisure programming
• Promote activities of daily living based on each patient’s developmental level and abilities

Your work will play a vital role in helping patients progress toward their treatment goals in a supportive and structured environment.

DAY SHIFT (7A-7PM), NIGHT SHIFT (7P-7A)

Education & Training

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or college coursework in:
  • Healthcare
  • Mental health
  • Recreational therapy
  • Education
  • Human growth and development
• Must demonstrate proficiency in spoken and written English

Licensure & Certifications

• CPR Certification – training provided
• Handle With Care (HWC) Certification – training provided

Experience

• Preferred: At least one year of experience in one of the following roles or similar settings:
  • Nurse’s aide
  • Mental health aide
  • Psychiatric aide
  • Rehabilitation or psychiatric care
