Job Title: HVAC Technician

Job Description

As an HVAC Technician, you will utilize hand and power tools to install, troubleshoot and repair wall-mounted HVAC units in modular homes that will sit on construction sites. You will troubleshoot, and repair units as well as they come back into shop, ensure coils are clean, replace air filters, and perform quality checks to ensure proper installation and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and repair wall-mounted HVAC units in modular homes using hand and power tools.
• Troubleshoot any issues and ensure coils are clean and air filters are replaced.
• Perform quality checks to ensure units are installed correctly and operational.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in HVAC installation and troubleshooting.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC units.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• EPA Certification is required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to perform quality control checks.
• Knowledge of repair and installation processes.

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled, involving outside and yard work. Steel-toed boots to the ankle are required. The work schedule is from 7am to 4pm, Monday through Friday, with rare Saturday work. Employees receive a 1-hour lunch break and two 15-minute breaks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Midway, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
