Enterprise Architect/Systems Engineer

OverviewVTG is seeking an experienced, results oriented Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Architect or Systems Engineer to join our team in the Bethesda, Maryland area. You will play a critical role in documenting and shaping our client's IT enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with the client’s vision of driving interoperability across organizations.What will you do?Primary responsibilities and tasks may include some or all of the following:Develop an IT enterprise architecture that provides client stakeholders awareness of critical capabilities, dependencies, and mission critical impacts and risks. This includes developing the:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content providers, content consumers, developers, engineers, and business analysts.Ability to work in small teams or independently.Experience supporting senior government civilians.Ability to gather requirements from various stakeholders and develop an integrated solution.Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Do you have what it takes?Basic Qualifications:Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraphBS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domainProven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Systems Engineer, or similar roleStrong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF)Familiarity with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Model-Based Systems EngineeringExperience migrating systems to an IC CloudExperience integrating systems and tools in a cloud environmentPreferred Qualifications:Five or more years of experience working with or in the Intelligence Community (IC)• Experience with M365 and other enterprise networks, providers and toolsVTG’s estimated starting pay range is $190,000-$210,000 annually, which is a general guideline for the geographic location. When extending an offer, VTG also considers work experience, education, skill level, market considerations and may possibly include contractual requirements which may cause an offer to fall outside of this range.
