Job Description As a Security Officer Alarm Patrol in Lodi, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will also support access awareness, respond to alarms as needed, and deliver strong customer service through clear communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site policies and report delivery, shipping, or after‑hours access issues to appropriate personnel. Support site operations by communicating with staff regarding security‑related matters, assisting with incident response, and completing required logs, reports, and shift activity records. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
