About This Role

The part time Cook will support the Food Service Coordinator and help in the classrooms when needed.They will help with checking in weekly orders and help prepare for Wednesday evening meals for the church.They will take over the kitchen responsibilities in the abscence of the Coordinator. In the classroom they will assistist in activiities with the children and their ovrall care. They must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist in meal preparations following the food guidelines
• Manage cleanliness in the kitchen when needed
• Encourage the children to eat all the good food
• Actively engage in activities with the children
• Encourage self-help and good hygiende through behavior modeling
• Mainatain positive communication with everyone in the center

Requirements

• High energy
• Ability to work well wth others
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Some experience cooking for a large number (60-70) of people or children
• Infantchild CPR and FIrst Aid Certification (we will pay to get certified)
• Must clear full background check and reference cecks
• Have a genuine love and caring of children
