Responsibilities – What You'll Be Responsible For

• Conduct routine and complex laboratory analyses—spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—while following established guidelines and protocols.
• Examine test results for reliability, troubleshoot discrepancies, and handle preventative maintenance and calibration for laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen acquisition and carefully prepare samples for analytical procedures as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory processes, assist in onboarding new staff or trainees, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a spotless and safe workplace while complying with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health discipline with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within your first year of employment.
• Keep your certification current throughout your employment.

• Able to exercise independent judgment and problem-solve under pressure or in fast-paced scenarios.
