The Job at a Glance

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the performance of mechanical, automated, and facility systems within our 100,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art fulfillment center. This includes material handling equipment, packaging systems, conveyors, robotic automation, and overall building infrastructure.

In this role, you will perform hands-on maintenance, including preventative care, troubleshooting, inspections, and minor repairs, while also coordinating with internal teams and external vendors. You will help minimize downtime, improve operational efficiency, and ensure a safe working environment. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting, has strong mechanical aptitude, and is committed to safety and continuous improvement.

A Typical Day

• Promote a safe work environment by identifying, addressing, and resolving equipment-related safety concerns
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on conveyors, sorters, packaging equipment, compactors, baler, robotic systems, and other facility machinery
• Conduct inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and minor adjustments to maintain optimal equipment performance
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and improve efficiency
• Serve as a first responder for mechanical issues and system outages across the facility
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate repairs or replacements with internal teams or external vendors
• Assist with equipment assembly, setup, and ongoing servicing
• Inspect and maintain safety equipment such as fire systems, eyewash stations, and first aid kits
• Identify and repair potential safety hazards to prevent workplace injuries
• Support cleaning, sanitization, and general facility upkeep, including monitoring pest control services
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs
• Manage inventory levels and the budget for spare parts, tools, and supplies; procure materials as needed
• Continuously looking for ways and maintenance products to improve operations, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment such as forklifts, conveyor systems, and automated machinery
• Partner with operations and leadership teams to quickly resolve maintenance and safety issues
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and various hand and power tools
• Work at heights, including climbing ladders as required

• You have the physical stamina to lift, climb, and stand for extended periods
• You have basic inventory management and record-keeping skills
• You have great communication skills & you're proficient in English (verbal and written)

• You are looking to work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and can work weekends as needed.
