Quick Facts Location: Sunrise Children’s Hospital, 3186 South Maryland Parkway, Las Vegas, NV 89169 Start Date: 06/21/2024 (or upon mutual agreement) End Date/Duration: Ongoing temporary assignment or as specified Shift: Various shifts available, including 12-hour or 24-hour shifts based on unit needs Hours/week: 36–40 hours per week Employment Type: Contract / Per Diem (details discussed upon application) Licensure/Certifications: Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (VMS Certification Requirement) Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Neonatal Intensive Care or equivalent high-acuity setting Pay & Benefits Pay: Competitive hourly rate (discussed upon application) – pay details available upon inquiry Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision insurance options Free professional liability insurance Support for licensing, credentialing, and travel expenses Flexible scheduling options Supportive team environment in a leading healthcare facility What You’ll Do Provide direct neonatal care for critically ill newborns in a Level III NICU setting Collaborate with neonatologists and pediatric specialists on high-acuity cases, including ECMO, inhaled nitric oxide, and whole-body cooling for HIE Manage complex cases involving ELBW infants and other critical conditions Participate in neonatal resuscitation and transport teams as needed Utilize advanced neonatal technologies and develop individualized care plans Document patient care accurately and in compliance with healthcare standards Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient outcomes in a high-performing team What You Need Required: Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (VMS Certification Requirement) Nevada state license or eligible to obtain one Minimum 2 years NICU experience in a high-acuity environment Strong knowledge of neonatal interventions and technologies Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred: Experience with ECMO, HFO, or other advanced neonatal life support techniques Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team About the Assignment Join a dedicated team at Sunrise Children’s Hospital, a highly respected institution with a 72-bed Level III NICU, serving critically ill neonates with advanced interventions.
