As a Tuck-In Call Volunteer, you will make friendly phone calls to patients or their caregivers to ensure they feel supported and prepared for the days ahead. These calls help our care team confirm that patients are comfortable, have the supplies they need, and know they are not alone. What You’ll Do Make short, supportive phone calls to patients or caregivers Check in about comfort, medications, supplies, and equipment Help ensure patients are prepared for the weekend through, Weekly Tuck-In Calls Make Post-Admission Check-In Calls to welcome new patients and families to hospice services Share any questions or concerns with the hospice care team for follow-up Why This Matters Sometimes a simple phone call can bring reassurance and comfort during a difficult time.
