Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide specialized critical care nursing services in the ICU unit to critically ill patients. Deliver comprehensive patient care supported by advanced clinical skills and certifications to promote recovery and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Administer ICU nursing care to patients with complex health conditions.
• Monitor patient vital signs and implement adjustments to treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in the Meditech system.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
• Utilize advanced skills such as intubations, central lines, and arterial lines.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Texas RN license; temporary licenses are not accepted.
• Possess a minimum of 2-3 years ICU experience.
• Achieve Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation preferred.
