Demand Response Program ManagerThis role supports Large C&I Demand Response programs at Xcel Energy. These voluntary programs allow customers to temporarily reduce energy usage during peak grid stress events.The Program Manager will:Manage 2–3 demand response programs across multiple states (Xcel operates in eight states)Oversee customer enrollments and account management enablementManage forecasting, budgeting, and program performanceProduce program reports and filingsCoordinate billing, waivers, complaints, and year?end closeoutSupport enrollment planning and rule communicationWork varies seasonally and quarterly:Q1: Program status reports, performance write?ups, filings, planning, presentations to account managers and operationsQ2: Enrollment push, webinars, forecasting, pipeline management, summer readinessQ3: Summer event season—program support, billing file setup, performance checks, customer issuesQ4: Program wrap?up, billing finalization, year?end reports, planning for next cycleHighly collaborativeCross?functional interaction is constantStrong emphasis on teamwork and cultural fitFrequent communication and shared problem?solving40 hours per weekNo overtimeStandard business hoursProgram management experienceForecasting and budgetingStakeholder collaboration (account management, operations)Strong Excel skillsUtility experience preferred but not requiredStrong communicationDetail?orientedHighly collaborativeTeam?focused mindsetCustomer service7+ years of experienceBackground in:UtilitiesRegulated industries (e.g., finance)Demand response, rebate, or incentive programsMBA (nice to have)Experience in regulated environmentsExperience with rebate, incentive, or demand response programsMinneapolis (401 Nicollet) or Denver (T3)HybridIn office: Tuesday–ThursdayRemote: Monday & Friday
