Job Summary:


Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Engineering Technician to support complex electronic component-level repair and testing operations. Working under limited supervision, the technician will troubleshoot hardware and software systems, conduct experiments, analyze test results, and optimize repair procedures to ensure the highest quality standards. This role also serves as a technical liaison with customers and OEMs and may mentor junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform non-routine and advanced troubleshooting and component-level repairs using electronic test equipment.
• Manage and organize the work area to optimize operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Assist and guide lower-level technicians as needed.
• Evaluate customer requirements and products for integration into the client's testing and repair processes.
• Design, implement, and maintain test procedures, fixtures, and environments to improve diagnostics and repair performance.
• Travel to customer or OEM facilities for technical training and collaboration on technical concerns.
• Maintain and analyze performance and quality data to drive process improvements.
• Conduct process evaluations and time studies for repair workflow optimization.
• Serve as a key technical liaison between our client, customers, and OEM partners.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, adapting to changing project or business needs.

• Soldering Irons
• Electronic test, calibration, and measurement equipment
• Standard and advanced PC software applications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate degree in electronics or equivalent military/technical experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an electronics repair or testing role
• Strong computer proficiency and ability to operate a range of diagnostic equipment

Training Requirements:

• ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) Awareness
• Hazard Communication (HazCom)
• On-the-job training (OJT)
• Additional customer-specific training as required
