Eagan, MN Order: 415811 Order Type : Midwest Semi Skilled Pay: From $20.00 per hour Job description: Overview We are seeking a dedicated Press Assistant who is also trained in machine operating and forklift. The ideal candidate will be able to cross-train in multiple different locations around the warehouse facility and assist where needed. Details Schedule: Monday-Thursday Shift: 2:15pm-12:45am Pay: $20/hour Duties Read and understand all job specifications and requirements. Stage all required materials needed for each job. Cut cores. Set up packaging materials Load and unload slitter. Forklift operation. Palletize completed orders Validate accuracy of all labels and packing lists prior to sign off Shrink wrap and deliver finished orders to shipping area. Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of press area Is essential duties are complete work with operators to clean and maintain the warehouse, shipping, dock and office areas Daily general maintenance duties to be completed: Clean all equipment, replace using supplies, empty trash, clean warehouse, pick up after yourself in lunchroom and restroom. 2nd shift - plug in all forklifts Competencies Problem Solving - Interpersonal skills Oral and written communication Teamwork Quality of work Adaptability Attendance and punctuality Dependability Education and Experience Some previous work related skills, knowledge and experience High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read instructions, incoming and outgoing paperwork Ability to actively listen Ability to work individually and in a team environemtn Good computer skills with high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Qualifications Proficiency in screen printing, layout design, and prepress processes is preferred. Familiarity with machining techniques and quality control standards is a plus. Strong understanding of typography and print advertising principles. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is essential for design-related tasks. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills are required. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills will be highly valued.
