Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting within a Level II Trauma Center at a short-term acute care facility
• Manage patients requiring advanced interventions including ventilator management, chest tubes, central venous lines (CVL), and external ventricular drains (EVD)
• Support patients requiring cardiovascular surgery and neurosurgery care
• Perform and interpret laboratory values to guide clinical decision-making
• Float between units as needed to support staffing requirements across the facility
• Commit to weekend shifts (approximately 6 per contract period) and work 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience with CV surgery, trauma, ventilators, chest tubes, CVL, EVDs, and neurosurgery patients
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals may be considered under separate terms)
• Must be able to commit to all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submission; post-submission RTO requests may not be accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly complex acute care environment
• Familiarity with neurosurgical and cardiovascular surgical patient populations
• Strong lab interpretation skills in a critical care context
