An exciting contract opportunity is available for experienced Paraprofessionals interested in supporting schools in the Simi Valley area. As part of the building substitute pool, you’ll have the flexibility to pick up sub shifts with the potential to transition into a full-time role for the 26/27 school year. This is an ideal opportunity for those who are passionate about working within SPED classrooms and who are eager to make a meaningful impact on students’ educational experiences.
Key Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in an SPED classroom
- Willingness to work substitute shifts as needed
- Flexible with caseload preferences and daily assignments
- Able to reliably commute to Simi Valley, CA
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to classroom teachers and students as a substitute paraprofessional
- Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and classroom activities
- Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with diverse needs
- Communicate effectively with staff and students while adapting to various school settings
This contract role offers a sub shift pay rate of $29 per hour, making it a great fit for education professionals looking for flexibility and variety in their schedule. As a member of the substitute pool, you’ll gain valuable experience and have the possibility to secure a full-time position for the upcoming school year.
