Job Summary The RN Pre-op/PACU provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU delivers safe, effective, and family-centered care in perioperative services for all patient populations. Typical specialty areas include Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, and Urology. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing Active RN license in the state BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet patient and unit needs Strong verbal and written communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
