Maintenance Technician

A bit about us:

We are an established, midsized contract manufacturer producing personal-care, beauty, and over-the-counter products for consumer brands. Our Southern California operation supports product development through manufacturing, filling, and packaging.

Our production team runs multiple lines across two shifts. This first-shift position focuses on maintaining filling equipment, resolving mechanical issues, and keeping production running consistently.

Job Details

Hands-on experience maintaining filling and packaging machinery in cosmetic, personal-care, OTC, pharmaceutical, or similar manufacturing; Norden tube-filler experience preferred.
Set up production lines and perform equipment changeovers, including removing, installing, and adjusting machine parts for different production runs.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on Norden 602/702 tube-filling equipment running approximately 35 pieces per minute; no PLC or heavy electrical troubleshooting required.
Perform preventive maintenance, identify worn or damaged components, and determine replacement parts needed to keep filling and packaging equipment operating.
Clean and sanitize product-contact machine parts during changeovers and maintenance, following cGMP requirements, equipment SOPs, and safety procedures.
