Job TitleMedical Surgical CNAJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Medical Surgical CNA, also referred to Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Med-Surg CNA. A Med Surg CNA will assist with patient care by supporting daily activities, mobility, feeding, and vital signs while monitoring for any changes. Additionally, the Med Surg CNA, will help nurses by maintaining supplies, assisting with wound care, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.ResponsibilitiesAssist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and toiletingHelp with mobility, including turning, repositioning, and transferring patients to prevent skin breakdown, you may also feed patients who need assistance and monitor intake/outputTake and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration), observe and report changes in a patient's condition to nurses, you may also help with wound care under the direction of an RNStock and maintain supplies in patient rooms, ensure the environment stays clean and safeAssist in transporting patients within the hospitalQualificationsCurrent Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, requiredCurrent BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain currentPossesses knowledge of Medical TerminologyMinimum six months' previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferredEmployment StatusFull TimeShiftNightsEqual Employment OpportunityCompany is an equal employment opportunity employer.
