About the Role:

Crossroads Christian Academy in Las Vegas, NV is looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher's Assistant to join our team! Responsibilities:

Assist lead teachers in delivering engaging, lesson plans and classroom instruction

Support individual and small group learning activities to reinforce academic concepts

Monitor and supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, and recess

Help maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment

Assist with grading, record-keeping, and preparation of classroom materials

Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student progress

Provide one-on-one support to students who need additional academic assistance

Requirements:

Negative TB Test

At least 1 year of experience working with children ages 12 months old through 5 yrs old in a classroom setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor with a passion for student success

Ability to align with and support the Love and Logic Philosophy

Must be able to pass a background check

CPR/First Aid certification and other licensing mandatory classes within 90 days of hire
