American Driver is hiring CDL A drivers in Fernandina Beach, FL. Located on Amelia Island at the northern tip of Florida just off I-95, Fernandina Beach puts you right at the start of one of the most active freight corridors on the Eastern Seaboard.

New drivers are welcome. If you have your Class A CDL and have completed your school hours, a fully paid training program is ready for you.

Training:

• 4–6 weeks fully paid with a dedicated mentor
• Live freight from day one — real loads, real routes
• ELD, HOS, inspections, and daily operations all covered
• Weekly pay throughout training
• Solo at $0.56 CPM after completion

What the Job Looks Like:

• No-touch dry van freight
• About 60% drop and hook
• 2,200–2,500 miles per week
• Eastern routes with consistent year-round freight
• Day and night dispatch

Pay:

• $0.56–$0.65 CPM based on experience
• Most drivers earn $1,200–$1,500 weekly
• Stop, layover, and breakdown pay included
• Six-month pay increase
• $300 orientation pay
• Weekly direct deposit

Home Time:

• Every two weeks on a planned, consistent schedule

Equipment:

• Assigned Freightliner or Kenworth (2022–2025)
• APUs on all units

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL, age 21+
• Completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school — required to enter our paid training program
