Job Overview – Senior AccountantCompensation: $70,000 - $85,000/year + bonusLocation: Easton, PASchedule: Monday – Friday (Primarily Onsite, Flexible Hours)Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Accountant in Easton, PA for our client, a growing manufacturing organization. This role is responsible for leading month-end close, financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and supporting budgeting and financial analysis initiatives. The ideal candidate has a blend of corporate accounting and financial reporting experience, enjoys process improvement, and is seeking long-term career growth within an established finance organization.Responsibilities as the Senior Accountant:Financial Reporting: Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities while preparing financial statements, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.General Ledger Accounting: Prepare and review journal entries, analyze general ledger accounts, and ensure accurate accounting in accordance with GAAP and internal controls.Budgeting & Analysis: Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and ad hoc financial reporting to assist business decision-making.Audit & Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits while supporting compliance with GAAP, SOX, and corporate accounting policies.Team Collaboration: Partner with finance and operational teams, provide guidance to junior accounting staff, and support cross-functional accounting initiatives.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, support ERP implementation initiatives, and contribute to operational efficiency projects.Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.Experience: 3–7+ years of accounting experience in a corporate, manufacturing, or public accounting environment is required.Industry Knowledge: Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred. Experience with financial reporting, month-end close, GAAP, and internal controls is required. A blend of public accounting and corporate accounting experience is preferred.Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems is required.
