Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Paid time off About the Role: Porpiglia Electrical Contractors is looking for a motivated Electrician Apprentice to join our growing team in Milton, NY! This is a fantastic opportunity to learn the trade hands‑on alongside experienced electricians while building a rewarding career in the electrical industry. Responsibilities: Assist journeyman and master electricians with residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations Run conduit, pull wire, and install electrical panels, outlets, switches, and fixtures Read and interpret basic electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with OSHA and NEC standards Troubleshoot and assist in diagnosing electrical issues under the supervision of a licensed electrician Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites as needed Participate in on‑the‑job training and apprenticeship program coursework Requirements: High school diploma or GED required Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in a registered electrical apprenticeship program Basic knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety practices is a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical environments including heights and confined spaces Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a team‑player attitude Ability to follow instructions and work safely under supervision About Us: Porpiglia Electrical Contractors has been a trusted name in the Hudson Valley electrical industry, proudly serving the Milton, NY area and surrounding communities.
