Our client is seeking Senior AS/400 Developer to join their team.

Role Title: Senior AS/400 Developer

Location: Nashville, TN - Remote

Contract

What are must-have skills for this role : 1. RPGLE, RPG 2. CLLE 3. DB2/400(SQL)
Years of experience required for each skill: 5+ years
What are some nice-to-have skills: Agile knowledge

Job duties/responsibilities:

• As a Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing applications.
• You will document technical designs and specifications while researching and incorporating updated content for applications.
• You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.
• You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions.
• Additionally, you will provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Advanced proficiency in AS/400 COBOL 400 is required.
• Advanced proficiency in Bug Reporting is recommended.
• Furthermore, advanced proficiency in IBM DB2/400, IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV, IBM AS/400 RPG III, and IBM System I (AS/400) is suggested.
