OverviewIn this position, you will deploy and optimize advanced and mission critical ArcGIS deployments. You will partner directly with customers to share best practices on advanced ArcGIS Enterprise deployment architecture and integration topics.This team supports Defense and Intel clients. ResponsibilitiesDeploy and configure complex ArcGIS in a wide variety of environments across operation systems, cloud providers, security architectures, customer types and organizations, to meet the customer's service level agreementPlan and execute the migration of content from one ArcGIS deployment to another, encompassing different architectures, deployment strategies and software componentsTroubleshoot advanced ArcGIS deployments, providing guidance for platform components such as storage, networking and securityWork closely with customers and partners to identify, design, and certify key GIS workflows for the ArcGIS platformCollaborate internally to help customer organizations align their technical objectives and business goals with Esri's technology platformRequirements12+ years of professional experience in a similar position supporting similar responsibilitiesExperience designing, implementing and/or administrating enterprise ArcGIS or other comparable IT systems (desktop, server and online)Broad system administration experience on Windows and/or LinuxWorking knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language (such as Python, PowerShell, Javascript, C#)Familiarity with network concepts and topics (such as domains, directories, DNS, firewalls, proxies, load-balancing)Experience with at least one RDBMS, including SQL query writing (such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)US citizenship with Active or Current (within 2 years of active) Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibilityBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or STEM related fieldRecommended QualificationsMaster's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or STEM related fieldOne or more industry-standard IT certifications (such as Esri, Microsoft, Amazon)CompTIA Security + certificationExperience with Esri software including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Online, Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Runtime and their associates APIs or interfacesCloud-based system operations (SysOps)#LI-SS2#LI-OnsiteTotal RewardsEsri’s competitive total rewards strategy includes industry-leading health and welfare benefits: medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance for employees (and their families), 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
