Respiratory Nurse (LPN/RN) - Specialized Respiratory Care Unit Full-Time | Part-Time | Per Diem Join Our Specialized Respiratory Care Team We are seeking compassionate and clinically skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our growing Respiratory Care Unit . As a Respiratory Nurse, you will provide specialized nursing care to residents requiring respiratory support, including tracheostomy care, oxygen therapy, pulmonary treatments, and ventilator support. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy working in a higher-acuity environment and are interested in developing specialized respiratory skills. Previous respiratory experience is preferred. Additional training will be provided to qualified candidates. All respiratory duties will be carried out under the guidance of the Respiratory Director. Responsibilities Provide specialized respiratory nursing care to residents with respiratory and pulmonary conditions Monitor residents requiring ventilator support, tracheostomies, oxygen therapy, and respiratory treatments Perform tracheostomy care and suctioning procedures Administer prescribed medications, nebulizer treatments, and physician-ordered respiratory interventions Monitor respiratory modalities and elevate concerns to the appropriate clinical team Educate residents, families, and staff regarding respiratory care needs Support emergency respiratory interventions when necessary Qualifications Required Current Pennsylvania LPN or RN license in good standing Current CPR/BLS certification Preferred 1-year Skilled Nursing Facility, Subacute, LTACH, Rehab, or Hospital experience Experience caring for residents with Trach and Ventilator support Ideal Candidates We welcome nurses with experience in: Subacute Care Ventilator Units Pulmonary Care Step-Down Units ICU or Progressive Care Long-Term Care Skilled Nursing Facilities We also encourage strong LPNs and RNs who are interested in expanding their clinical expertise into respiratory care to apply.
