This individual will collaborate with internal and external partners to bring exceptional products to life, guiding the entire development lifecycle from initial concept and ideation through design drawings, sketch iterations, sample reviews, and final product execution. The ideal candidate brings a discerning eye for design, a passion for craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of furniture product development. This is a design-driven, physical product development role, not engineering, technology, or software product development. We are seeking individuals whose expertise lies in furniture design, materials, manufacturing, and the art of bringing beautifully conceived products to life.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESLive and breathe Our Values and BeliefsCollaborates with the design team and vendor partners to develop dining tables and chair collections that align with the luxury design, quality, and standards of RHProactively maintains a comprehensive track for all communications and design revisionsReviews and approves designs through renderings and CAD drawingsCollaborates with the cross functional partners within the organization on feature product within our sourcebooks, galleries, and online storeDevelops materials and manufacturing requirements to determine production costs in collaboration with merchandising partnersOUR REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceDeep passion for design within the luxury market and a high level of design aestheticExperience with Autocad, Sketch Up, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator) with the enthusiasm for learning new softwareProficient communication skills between internal and external partnersStrong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same timeAbility to proactively identify opportunities or challenges within the scope of developments and actively finds solutionsStrong interpersonal skills.
