Travel MRI Technologist - Gibbon, Nebraska

A travel opportunity is available for a skilled Imaging Technologist specializing in MRI, with additional expertise in CT and X-ray, including intraoperative procedures. This role supports a Level II trauma center and neurosurgical services, providing essential imaging for heads and spines as needed. The position offers a unique 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, enabling focused work periods followed by extended personal time.

• Wednesday: 19:30 - 6:00

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI imaging focusing on head and spine protocols as needed.
• Provide CT and X-ray imaging support, including during surgeries in the operating room.
• Ensure compliance with all imaging guidelines and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with trauma and neurosurgery teams to deliver timely and accurate imaging services.
• Adhere to fingernail policy, with artificial nails prohibited in all patient care areas.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification in CT and X-ray required.
• MRI certification preferred, with a minimum of 2 years' MRI experience.
• Valid driver's license to verify candidate is located outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
• Ability to work the specified 7 days on/7 days off shift pattern.
• Candidates may not currently hold full-time, part-time, or PRN positions with any affiliated health systems.
