Operating Room Support Specialist, VNS Therapy- Part Time (Omaha, NE)

LivaNova seeks a part-time Operating Room Support Specialist in Omaha to provide clinical and technical support during VNS Therapy System implantation procedures. The role involves collaborating with surgical teams, troubleshooting medical devices, and supporting case coverage in hospital operating rooms.
Responsibilities
- Provide surgical case coverage during VNS Therapy System implantation procedures
- Support operating room staff with device diagnostics, troubleshooting, and programming assistance
- Serve as subject matter expert on VNS Therapy System functionality and protocols
- Visit hospital facilities regularly and maintain compliance with credentialing requirements
- Communicate effectively with neurosurgeons, epileptologists, and nursing staff intraoperatively
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or clinical/operating room environment experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer literacy
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain professional demeanor and nonverbal communication in OR settings
- Current immunizations required for healthcare employment
- Availability for short-notice coverage with 1-2 days' notice
Compensation: $60 per hour
