Senior Account Manager, Commercial Lines

Opportunity Senior Account Manager – responsible for managing specialized, complex books of business and guiding less‑experienced colleagues. The role entails client service leadership, mentoring, and occasional special projects. Duties & Responsibilities Service day‑to‑day client needs via phone, email, and other communication concerning coverage questions, policy changes, payments, and cancellations. Execute the entire client renewal process: obtain updated information, market terms and pricing, negotiate, review quotes, present renewal numbers to producers and clients, and handle invoicing. Review quote documents to ensure all insurance requirements are included in the proposal. Maintain client relationships and ensure satisfaction. Delegates work to Associate Account Managers I & II, and Account Managers I & II, ensuring appropriate workload and progress. Maintain relationships with underwriters to secure positive outcomes for clients and negotiate coverage. Ensure completion of proposals, binding of coverage, policy review for accuracy, and creation of client policy summaries and binders. Set up and maintain electronic records following best practices and internal broker standards. Train, mentor, and collaborate with team members on coverage, exposures, and client knowledge. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid P & C Insurance Producer License. Six or more years of insurance brokerage or property‑casualty experience, preferably in an account management role. Construction industry experience is preferred. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Proficient in training and mentoring others. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong reading comprehension and analytical skills. Strong data entry and organizational skills. Excellent written and oral communication. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet use. Experience with EPIC Agency Management System is preferred. Work Conditions & Physical Demands The role requires regular sitting, use of hands and fingers, and occasional lifting of up to ten pounds. Salary and Benefits Expected salary range: $90,000 - $100,000k, adjusted for location, experience, and business line.
