Hours & Compensation Building hours are 7:30am-7:30pm. School hours are 8:00am-2:30pm. After-Care operates from 2:30pm-7:00pm. Hours/Scheduling may vary based on needs. The pay for this position is $23 - $25 per hour, set in good faith based on the responsibilities of the role, qualifications, and market conditions. What You’ll Do As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work directly with students while partnering closely with our BCBAs, teachers, OTs, SLPs, and other team members. Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students during school and provide clinical services during after-school hours as needed. Implement individualized behavior and skill-building plans. Help students build communication, social, academic, and life skills. Collect data and document student progress. Use positive, compassionate strategies to support student behavior and regulation. Help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Work as part of a collaborative clinical and educational team. Participate in training, coaching, and professional development. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is: Patient, compassionate, and genuinely enjoys working with children. Comfortable supporting students with autism and diverse needs. A strong communicator and team player. Flexible, dependable, and open to learning. Comfortable receiving coaching and feedback. Passionate about helping students become more independent. Required: High school diploma or equivalent and willingness to complete required training.Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Preferred: RBT certification, an associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field, or experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities. Why Solterra?
