Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Portola Valley, CA

This position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) who is passionate about working with children and eager to collaborate with a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Qualifications and Experience: Active SLPA license or certification required Previous experience in a school environment preferred Ability to build rapport with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities Strong communication and collaboration skills Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism Reliable and organized, able to work independently as well as under guidance Key Responsibilities: Support the SLP in providing speech and language services to students Implement therapy plans designed by the SLP, under supervision Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress Collaborate with other staff and contribute to an encouraging learning atmosphere Participate in meetings and training sessions as needed Adapt to the dynamic needs of students and the school community This role offers the unique chance to work in a small district, contributing your expertise while developing your professional skills.
