Propensity for functional interventions and experience with group/concurrent modes of therapy. High communication skills and collaboration with a patient-first attitude. Description: This is a Physical Therapist position for a schedule of Sunday to Thursday. It involves working in a state-of-the-art, 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation facility dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced severe injuries or illnesses. Rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. Customized rehabilitation is tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from strokes, brain injuries, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries. The goal is to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those served through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. The facility has a patient ratio of 1:5-7, depending on acuity. Equipment available includes a Smart Car, Vector, Lite Gait, Senaptec, a dedicated transfer room, an outdoor functional courtyard, and access to EKSO. Common diagnoses treated include neuro, ortho, TBI, SCI, and cardio-pulmonary conditions. This position requires high communication and collaboration skills with a patient-first approach.
