Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Hospitalist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services from primary and preventive care, to specialty services for children and adults, all designed to keep our community healthy. Dedicated to providing the highest quality health care services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity and respect, regardless of immigration status or ability to pay.Opportunity Details:Medical management and comprehensive care of patients in the Medicine Inpatient Units.Attend to consultations and referrals, as needed.Provide education and training to residents, medical students, and junior members of the medical team.Collaboration with facility-wide Departments, as required.Participation in hospital-wide performance and quality improvement projects and patient safety initiatives.Responsible for the supervision of Advanced Practice Providers.Flexible schedule for evening and overnight hours coverage - Dedicated hours with flexibility for coverage.Active or eligible for a NYS LicenseBoard Eligible or Board Certified in Internal MedicineCultural sensitivity and experience treating a diverse patient population preferredWages and Benefits include:Annual Base Salary: $241,000* (board eligible); $246,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $360,620** (board eligible) and $366,120** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings.
