Serving as both creator and guardian of brand voice, they lead the editorial strategy with a passion for pop culture and emerging trends, crafting persuasive narratives that resonate across all channels. They ensure the development of advertising and social campaigns that position this company as a culturally relevant, inspirational brand with a clear purpose and focus on the customer. This role requires a proven track record in advertising copywriting for retail or fashion editorial experience. Our Editorial Copywriters collaborate closely with strategy and other creative teams within Marketing, building alignment and support among key leadership and stakeholders to ensure a superior brand experience.

• Develop breakthrough editorial copy that aligns customer needs with marketing objectives and channel best practices.
• Create a distinctive editorial point of view for this brand, leveraging customer insights, pop culture, and fashion trends to ensure content remains fresh.
• Inspire the conceptualization and execution of advertising and social copy, ensuring campaigns are clear, concise, on-brand, and highly competitive.
• Plan, prioritize, and produce a high volume of work, taking ownership of campaign synergy from start to finish.
• Explore innovative ideas that drive business results

Skills You Will Need

Editorial Strategy: Ability to craft a distinctive editorial point of view, drawing from customer insights, pop culture, and fashion trends to ensure content remains fresh and engaging.

Creative Direction: Skill in directing the conceptualization and execution of advertising and social copy, ensuring campaigns are clear, concise, on-brand, and highly competitive.

Project Management: Proficiency in planning, prioritizing, and producing a high volume of work, overseeing the synergy between campaigns and tactics.

Innovative Thinking: Ability to generate creative ideas that drive business results, and effectively pitching concepts to key stakeholders.

Leadership and Mentorship: Skill in fostering a culture of creativity and innovation through cross-functional collaboration.

Software Proficiency: Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite and proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for effective communication and presentation.

Storytelling and Presentation: Excellent storytelling and presentation skills to effectively communicate creative concepts and strategies.

Who You Are

• Candidates with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field are encouraged to apply.
• 5 - 12 years of experience in advertising and fashion editorial copywriting.
• Able to work a hybrid, three-day in office per week schedule based on department and company needs.

Target Salary Range for this role on a FTE employment basis is $145,000 - $170,000. If you are interested in a contract-to-hire engagement, please provide your hourly rate requirements when you apply.
