Lawn Maintenance Technician- Star

Personnel Plus is now hiring for Lawn Maintenance in Star, ID.
As a lawn Maintenance Technician, you will be required to help maintain public landscaped areas in Star Idaho. Utilizing mowers, trimmers and the application of fertilizers.
Pay and schedule: $18.00/hr Monday- Friday, Seasonal, 7:00am- 3:30 PM
What you’ll do:
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment including mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and other power tools
- Perform routine lawn care such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control
- Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of sprinkler and irrigation systems
- Plant, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation
- Safely handle and apply chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers in accordance with regulations
- Support forestry operations including tree trimming, removal, and general care
- Maintain ball fields and recreational areas to ensure safe and playable conditions
- Perform general park maintenance including cleanup, debris removal, and minor repairs
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when operating equipment and handling materials
- Any other duties assigned
What you’ll need:
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials (50+ lbs.)
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for Prolonged periods of time
- Some experience in landscaping, grounds keeping, or a related field preferred
- Ability to safely operate power tools and lawn care equipment
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and plant care
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Drug-free
