Maintenance Mechanic Day Shift MotleyTrident Seafoods is North America's largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company. The global supply chain also encompasses cultured and wild species sourced from an international network of trusted suppliers.The Maintenance Mechanics troubleshoot, repair, install and adjust industrial production and processing equipment.Essential Functions:Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of troubleDismantles devices to gain access to remove defective parts or to make repairs.Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfectionsInspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using micrometers, calipers, and gaugesInstalls special functional and structural parts in devicesLubricates and cleans parts, equipment, and machineryTests and adjusts equipment to meet performance specificationsSets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, saws, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts; and sharpens and reshapes tools as necessaryInitiates purchase order for parts and machinesRepairs electrical equipment. Replacing like equipment as dined in NAC.Test faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test equipment or software, and applying knowledge of the functional operation of electronic units and systems.Will participate and train with the HazMat team.This is a nonexempt position with an hourly rate of $24.51 to $37.Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package.
