Production Line Operator - 3pm-11:30pm ($20-$26.02)This position is reserved for employees that are dedicated to step up from an entry level position on the manufacturing floor. Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required.The tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, and operate a motorized fork lift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned.Keep lines stocked with packaging materialsFill out appropriate paper related to the lines CCP's, production, packaging materialsBasic troubleshooting and repair of packaging equipmentKnowledge of basic operation of equipment on the lineCommunicate with supervisor when line is down due to equipment/oil supply issuesCommunicate with supervisor when equipment needs attentionReport/resolve any observed quality issues while operating lineProper start up, running and shut down of lineBasic Ammonia OperationKnowledge of process flow and ability to trace flow from source tank to filling processUnderstand and perform basic tasks as needed within the M3 inventory systemBasic Votator/Perfector operationBasic understanding of pumps, valves, filters, and heat exchangersQualificationsCompetencies:Be active and participate in efficiency and safety improvement teamsLearn and follow written rules and proceduresProduce accurate documentationMaintain acceptable attendanceMust be willing and able to learn various positionsMust fill in when needed in temporary/permanent vacanciesEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent - required & verifiedRelated Experience: Previous relevant experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.Equipment/Software Skills: Basic computer knowledge - data entryPhysical Requirements: This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights.Additional InformationBenefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and more.Salary Range: $41,600 - $54,121 / AnnuallyStratas Foods is an equal opportunity employer and will not discriminate against any applicant or employee in any manner prohibited by law, including but not limited to, on the basis of race or color, religion, gender, age, genetic information, national origin/ancestry, mental or physical disability, family status/marital status, military/veteran status, and any other legally protected status.
