1st and 2nd shifts available

This position reports to their respective work center leaders and to the Assistant Plant Manager. All inspectors are responsible for final quality check of parts and proper packaging.

Essential duties & responsibilities:

1. Inspector is responsible to inspect, pack and rack parts efficiently and independently.

2. While inspecting and wiping parts, the inspector must look for flaws in the plated parts like chrome burns, white wash etc. to avoid sending defected material to the customer.(Refer to FRM: 611 for complete training checklist).

3. Must ensure proper packaging per customer requirement.

4. Must keep an accurate count and record of all good and rejected parts.

5. Inspector is responsible to learn all customer names and part numbers to be able to fill out finished good tags accurately.

6. Keep the area organized and clean at all times.

7. Watch for signs and notices to ensure shipping best quality plated parts to the customer.

8. Must notify work center leader and or Assistant Plant Manager of any or all problems.

Education & Experience

Be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Typical Physical Demands

Requires prolonged Standing. Some bending, reaching and stooping required. Requires occasional lifting up to 30 pounds of boxes. Eyesight correctable to 20/20 to be able to inspect parts. Requires hearing within normal range. Requires manual dexterity and hand and eye coordination to rack, un-rack, inspect and pack parts
